Minerals, metals, and materials scientists and engineers from nearly 70 nations will gather in Phoenix, Arizona, for TMS2018, March 11-15. This year’s meeting will feature a plenary session on the future of materials and manufacturing innovation with the leadership of Tesla and SpaceX on Monday, March 12. Over the course of the week, more than 85 symposia are planned in 15 topic tracks including additive manufacturing, materials processing, mechanics and structural reliability, corrosion, nuclear materials, physical metallurgy, light metals, characterization, nanostructured materials, advanced materials, electronic materials, energy and environment, biomaterials, and materials design.
