Age is just a number in many instances, yet not just a number in some cases. Experiences, knowledge and specializations grow with age while vulnerabilities, challenges and risks associated with life also increase. Following some hectic global health challenges resulting from the Covid 19 pandemic, the world is now reflecting upon those challenges related to vulnerable groups of the population. Hence the 5th International Conference on Gerontology and Geriatrics Medicine, SilverAge 2024 will be hosted by iConferences with the collaboration of the International Institute on Ageing, United Nations-Malta, John Richards Centre for Rural Ageing Research, La Trobe University, Australia and Indian Academy of Geriatrics (IAG), India to assist these efforts.
